Hello,

I recently did an in-place install of Windows 7 to fix an issue with Windows Update. However, I see an option for an earlier version of Windows in the boot manager when I start up the PC. The question is: how do I remove it?

Run msconfig.exe as an Administrator and look under the boot tab. Can't you select it there and Remove?

2)RUN>sysdm.cpl>select "advanced tab"and start up and recovery --settings-->and In that list operating system list, select your OS and uncheck the time to display option.
