Hello, I've been getting this DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bsod ever since I installed a new sound card and driver. Since I've uninstalled but its still happening.

New to all of this so any advice is greatly appreciated. I read what was advised of the other guy with the same issue HERE and have attached the minidump.zip
Thanks!

Even though your error message is the same as one posted in another thread, the cause may not different. Plus if that thread is still active it can be confusing which person is being helped and if it isn't active then a post on the end of an old thread may go unnoticed completely. For these reasons, I have moved your post to its' own thread.

Also it appears your zipped up DMP files are missing. Please zip those again and attach.

How to attach ...

Struggling with this

Minidump.zip:
Your file of 1.35 MB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 1.19 MB for this filetype.

Just zip the last few DMP files so your zip is smaller and then try again.

Thanks for the input, I can see the file but how do I "update" it?
Thanks!

Did you download the update from the web site I provided in post # 6?

Reply to thread 'DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Thanks for checking back with me.
After I access that page I wasnt sure which model number I had.
Then when I attempted to access any of the drivers cmedia prompts you for a use name and password.
I emailed cmedia for assistance and waiting for a reply.
Thanks again
