How did you download the video from youtube, using what product? Computers can create many file types, what is the file extension? DVD players on the other hand have a limited set of codecs they support. You likely need a program to convert the file to a DVD format or other codec that your DVD player supports (many support mp3s, etc) and then need to burn a disk in DVD format rather than as a computer file.

There is no program listed in my reply.

The program you listed does not appear to offer the usual VOB format a DVD uses. Some DVD players support MP3 and this format might work for you. Most likely you will need a different downloader program which supports DVD format OR you will need software to convert the file again, once your downloader has created it on your computer.

Hello again, could you possibly recommend a program I have downloaded 3 eg (dvd videosoft. cnet.com. foxtab) but they seemed complicated, the beauty of the one I was using is you just clicked on the url pressed paste and that was it.I do not want to become a nuisance but I would like to get this to work.

To be honest I've never downloaded a youtube video. And I use paid software, called ConvertX2DVD, which is very good for converting files such as AVI's to DVD.

I don't know if there is anything for that in our Freeware DB or not.
