I ran device manager with view mode set to "by devices" and it was OK.
Then changed view mode to "by resources" and selected an item relating
to the onboard video display, and right clicked/properties.
I clicked on a tab or 2, but clicking on one of them, got the "not
responding" message.
had to kill the device manager.
Now, starting up Device Manager, it obviously goes to the
tab/item/properties that was last selected and just gives the "not
responding" message.
I'd like to run the device manager from the command line, giving
arguments on the command line to select the "by devices" view, which
will hopefully get out of the not responding bit.
Is this possible.
Hope someone knows
Cheers
