delete system restore points

Is there a way to delete individual restore points? The only thing
I've found is to delete all.

There's also a "delete all but the last one", but I don't delete restore
points, so I don't remember how to do that one.

It is under disk cleanup, you have to right click it and click to run as
administrator. If you don't, it won't give you that option.
Once disk cleanup opens, click on the " more options" tab, and
click "cleanup" under system restore and shadow copies. That will delete
all but the last restore point.

I don't seem to have delete all but the last one Using Win7 Pro, 64,
perhaps different than yours?

Thanks, Don, found it, and apparently that's it, can only delete all,
or delete all but the last. Wonder what the rationale is for that
when someone may want to preserve a few major points -- since Windows
can't do it, guess that's another reason to keep images.

You are welcome - yeah those are really the only options, I too do the
disk image thing regularly to be safe.

And I'm about to make an image, so will delete all but the last one!
It's certainly buried so deep that 99% of the users will never find it!

Thanks, I have it, but never looked at the details -- but too late for
the moment for the points, except the last, have just been deleted!

Don't laugh, but your mention of restore points and disk images in the
same conversation reminds me that a few of my customers think that
since they have restore points they don't need to backup their data.
They're wrong, of course.
