Delete grid

When I go to Microsoft Word -there is a grid -like graph paper- how can I delete it? It has infected all the data typed on microsoft word Please help?

This brings up the familiar dialog in which you can turn "Snap to grid" and "Snap to objects" on and off, set the grid interval, etc.

Try this:
Click "View" and look over to the left where there is a small window - Ruler/Gridlines/Navigational Pane. It should not be, by default, but it looks like you could have the gridlines selected.
