Creating Contacts Backup

In the old "Outlook Express" you could make a back-up copy of all your
contacts including sub contacts such as an example my list had the main list
of contacts and then I would break-down into another list call PAR(for
parish)-on the backup CD would show all contacts and include PAR - when I
try to do that with Windows Live Mail it copies the whole list but it
excludes any or additional sub contacts list. Any suggestions as to how to
overcome this problem?
