change dvd default player

Using Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
When I put a movie DVD in my DVD drive and click play, it opens in
Windows Media Player. How do I change it so that the default becomes
VLC Media player?

Go to the Start Button and Default Programs or Control
Panel\Programs\Default Programs and choose VLC player here also
Click Change Autoplay Settings and click the down arrow in the box next to
DVD Movie and choose VLC Player. If VLC isn't in the list then open VLC
player, Tools, Options and click the Interface button and then the File
Associations button.
