can't get windows time service to start.

I have used all the tips provided by google searches and still nothing. i get error 1290 could not start the windows time server due to incompatible service sid

Hi

Error 1290 on your system may be caused by invalid registry entries and outdated or corrupt drivers, its time consuming but i would check.
