SOLVED Can't change folder icon

Another problem come up, is that I cannot change icon of my folder. I have try to change icon by right click---Properties---customize---change icon, then to choose any icon on the list below and OK, but seemd nothing happened on selected folder, the icon didn't change, please advise how to change icon on windows 7, thanks once again!

Can you go to the folder where you changed the icon image and press F5. This should refresh the view and may show the new icon. If not, does the new icon change when you have re-started your computer?

Also, can you create a new empty folder on your desktop and try to change the icon - does this suffer from the same problem? Is it a special Windows folder (such as Music/Photos) that you tried to change?
