Given how old it is, might want to pickup a printer with your next PC
purchase. Usually for $29, less than the price of a cartridge you can get
an all in one.
Bleah. All in one equipment blows. Chunks. Have one part fail, then
you're without all of it, if you send it in for repairs. Not to mention
that it's generally low-end consumer-grade stuff.
My solution for having no driver, was to sell the old one, and buy an Epson
Perfection V500. The guy I sold the old one to traded it for a LIDE
scanner. Figures.
I have a Canon Lide 20 if my wife hasn't hucked it. Haven't used it in 8
years. They were not very good, but were cheap.
Heh, I've got a use for one, if someone would give it to me for free. I
think it would be nice, turned into a portable lightbox. Just need the
right LEDs, and put translucent white (either a sheet of plastic, or spray
paint) to diffuse the light.
