Hi there,

I just upgrade my pc and fresh installed Window 7, after 1 week i start having BSOD relates to PFN List Corrupt. I've run memtest+ for 8hours with 10 passes. I'm running I3 with 4gb ram, no OC.

Appreciate your advice

Welcome to the W7 forums.

It appears that Avast AV might be causing your problem.

Could you please download the latest and re-install it, if you have a paid subscription.
Or uninstall it and install Microsofts Security Essentials.

Hope this helps.

Hi Shintaro,

Thank you for your advice, Its been 2days since I've uninstalled Avast AV and replaced it with MSE.

No BSOD until now. Will monitor few more days and confirm the progress.

Thank you.

I went ahead and marked this as solved. If it should happen again just post the new dump files ans we can change it back to unresolved.
