Computer components:

motherboard: asus m4A87TD EVO
CPU: AMD phenom II x6 1090t 3.20 ghz
gpu: Sapphire radeon hd 5770 1gb, 128 bit
RAM: G skills ripjaws 8gb total(ddr3 1600)
Power supply: antec 500w

Hi and Welcome. You hardware is giving you blue screens:

050111-25864-01.dmp
Probably caused by : hardware
WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)
A fatal hardware error has occurred.
PROCESS_NAME: SC2.exe
Stack: nt!KxMcheckAbort+0x6c, hal!HalpMcaReportError+0x4c
FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: X64_0x124_AuthenticAMD_PROCESSOR_CACHE

I guess I could (or maybe even should) leave at this, but before replacing hardware parts and running multiple hardware diagnostic tools, I would love to recommend you to check your hardware settings:

THanks for the help so for, I apologize for not saying that earlier. I hope that I wont need to replace anything as these parts are fairly new. Anyways i'll post up what is needed, please let me know if there is any other information I can give you. Thanks again.

Right, that's exactly what I'm saying - do not replace your hardware but instead set it in the bios as advised by the manufacturer.

1. CPU - no overclocking, AMD Cool and Quiet should be on.

2. RAM, 2 x F3-12800CL9-4GBRL, rated 1600 Mhz 9-9-9-24 1.5v

Currently your RAM is 1240 9-9-9-24.

That's where your blue creens come from, set it right according to the rates and enjoy. :)

If he is overclocking, Cool N' Quiet should actually be turned off as he will need higher voltage. If anything, leaving Cool N' Quiet on may actually destabilize a system as it controls CPU voltage. I personally keep it off even if my processor is on stock speed though various people have been reporting they have a stable system even if it is on.

But then again, he's getting BSODs so yeah. Go back to your processor's stock speeds and weed out the problems first THEN once you feel everything is stable enough, you can go back to overclocking.

He he, thank you for clarifying, I know this very well, same with Intel EIST - being an overclocker myself. ;)

But whenever you are having blue screens with errors like stop 0x124 and having an urgent need to stop these nasty screens - should be no overclocking at all. :)

^thank for all the help thus far guys =) I didn't realize i was overclocking so yea =P oops lol. I changed everything back so it the cpu could be running at regular speeds, but my problem now is that I get freezes randomly. I don't know if that's due to the cool n quiet but I will turn that off now and see how it is. And yea, no more overclocking.

so everything seems to be squared off with the defaults specs, ram is set to to 1600 9-9-9-24. My problem still, is i'm getting freezes...I have no idea whats causing it. Stock settings call for cool n quiet to be on so i'm a bit confused in that matter.

Freezes can be due to insufficient PSU and faulty hardware. But first of all it's important to ensure the settings are right. Set the memory voltage as stipulated by the ram maker. Also try bios defaults.

^great thanks. All my settings should be straight now. I've been testing ram with memtest so we'll see after thats done. Out of curiosity but is it possible to have good RAM but bad dimm slots?

YES of course, that's why it is best to test sticks separately and each per slot.

Good.
hmm, I can't wait to get this all squared off and not worry about random freezes. When testing ram i've been testing individual sticks per slot with no luck, I still get freezes while testing. I might get lucky with one pass but it seems guaranteed to freeze =(

If your hardware is set right, PSU is good, everything sitting properly in slots, and you're still getting freezes - what's causing freezes?

I have no idea...I went back and set bios to default settings. Went and set RAM to manufacturer specs, psu never had caused a problem previous to the blue screen...So i'm at a standstill and have no idea what to check now.
