Use message rules to block out unwanted messages. Click on Tools - Message
Rules - News then set up a rule to filter out what you don't want to see.

Also just right click on the message -junk email- add sender to blocked
senders.

That will work for news too. Also at the same time I also 'ignore
conversation' as I also don't want to read the crap people send to feed the
troll.

Works pretty good to clean up the group. and takes only a second to right
click - add.
