Black Screen Help!

Hello,
I always get this screen when I:

1- Install Windows Update.
2- Windows Restarts for the updates to complete.
3- While Windows on "Prepare to configure Updates" screen, I get this black screen.

Please, is there any solution for this without I re-install Windows?

Try these techniques:

Check for registry issues
Reinstall your video driver
run System Restore in Safe mode

Removing the graphics driver in Safe mode might work for you, Open Device Manager in Safe mode and remove the graphic drivers.

Sorry, I must have missed this when you posted it a couple months ago. Have you resolved this?

If this is constant then it sounds like a hardware issue such as a bad internal connection such as a loose USB connector or a short in the USB ports outside.
