Do I have to updatey BIOS on my laptop? i.e. do I have to e running the latest version? What's the pros & cons?

Hi Kalario

You don't have to update your BIOS but it may be recommended, i would suggest looking up your latest BIOS and take a good look at the "changelog" this will outline any improvements then you can decide if you do need to upgrade.

Usually you update the BIOS if there are issues running the hardware or a new operating system.

I for one, have been doing BIOS updates for years with no problems, but that doesn't mean it is easy. You just have to be very careful when doing one.
