To convert MBOX to CSV by hand, you could import the MBOX file into email clients such as Thunderbird or Apple Mail and then export the emails as CSV using add-ons or native export options. In Thunderbird, you can export emails to a structured format (such as HTML or TXT) using the ImportExportTools NG extension and further parse and convert the data to CSV using a script (Python, PowerShell) or Excel's Power Query. Alternatively, you can employ Google Takeout (for Gmail MBOX files) to import emails into Gmail and then export emails through third-party software to CSV.
