It is interesting that Sir Tim Berners-Lee was born in 1955, the year
after Alan Turing committed suicide; time has passed!

It would have been nice if Alan Turing could have seen more of what he
started or influenced.

He was prosecuted/persecuted for behavior that today wouldn't have
raised many eyebrows...

Even worse, he was made the culprit when he was actually the victim of a
burglary. That was those admirable 50s that we see through rose
coloured rearview spectacles. Ecch!
