Backup doubts

E

Emrys Davies

I have Win7 Home Premium 64 bit and WLM

If I go to Start and open my Personal Folder I find 12 folders, one of which
is AppData, which contains three folders namely Local, LocalLaw and Roaming.
None of the contents of the latter three folders match my 'Storage Folders'
files in WLM, which are stored in C:\Users\Emrys
Davies\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail. Maybe the latter is
hidden in my Personal Folder.

I just need to be reassured that the 'Let Windows Choose' backup will
include my 'Storage Folders' which are in my message store. Conor has
already told me that it will, but I am dithering because of what I have
read. Sorry Conor.

If you are concerned that full computer backup will not copy out the appdata
dir or the WLM message cache you can always export the totality of your
emails from WLM to a USB pen drive backup.

Can you just let the backup run once, then investigate to see exactly
what was backed up? I assume there's a way to explore the backup to
see what is in it.
