Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if my audio driver's up-to-date and, if not, where to get and how to install the latest audio driver. I checked my dxdiag and I'm using Realtek HD Audio, the current driver's name is "RTKVHD64.sys", version 6.00.0001.6013. The sound card's onboard on my MSI motherboard (system model MS-7309).
I've been having crashes playing Crysis and located the source of the error to a certain "crysoundsystem.dll" file using Event Viewer. I believe my current sound config/driver may be responsible since all other factors have been ruled out (i.e. good CPU/GPU temps, RAM is free of errors, etc). Any help on this matter I'd sincerily appreciate. Thanks!
