Well I have tried everything I know, thats why I am here is for you help of what are causing all these Blue Screens with various errors. Some times it won't even boot into windows or safe mode, and other times it will get into them but crash soon after. I have ran the built in memory test in windows, I have even tried each memory stick one at at time. I use hard disk sentinal and it doest report any harddrive problems. I don't know if in the logs it will show but it might have my onboard nvidia video device disabled, I did try that too. All of this started after I put in a pci-e ati video card, but since then i have formatted and reloaded windows and I still have the problem so I don't know what is going on, your help would be appreciated, thanks. If you need anything else just let me know.

The RAM is currently set 200 Mhz 5-5-5-15-20, while it should be 333 Mhz 5-5-5-15-20 1.8v.

Enter bios setup to change the memory clock to "Auto".

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000008, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
    bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80002a59d29, address which referenced memory

Update it or navigate to C:\Windows\system32\drivers to rename the driver to .old:

Ok I checked the bios and it looks like the memory is already set to auto, but I want to make sure I am looking at the right thing. In bios I went to performance booster zone/dram config/ then the one I believe I was suppose to be looking at was timing mode? If so it was already set to auto. I just wanted to update everyone, right now I am going to try updating all the drivers and I will check back here later, thanks for the help.

Hey ryyiyi, if you get a chance, could you maybe fill in your computer spec's under your User CP?

Not a life threatener, just an aid in case of "clashes" with stuff.

Plus, I'm a nosey bugger!! :)

another question, where would a safe place to be to get those updated drivers? I can probably get the Biostar ones from their website, but what would I need to download? Would it be the chipset drivers? Also for chipset drivers there is IDE which I know what IDE is but what is SMU, they also have the chipset driver for that. The thing that gets me is that I had the latest version of virtual clone cd, but I would also need to know where I could get them from, thanks again.

Chipset Drivers are the MOST important drivers to download and install first. The other drivers fall in line behind the chipset drivers.

What model is your Biostar motherboard? That should have been listed in your Computer Specs section of the User CP or in your first post in this thread. Once we know that it can really help with what's going on with your situation.

ok sorry about that I thought the mainboard model was in my logs, my board is the Biostar MCP6P M2+ Ver. 6.x , and I did update the bios to the latest one listed on their site after all these blue screens appeared.

so I've been messing around with my computer trying to get it figured out, but I updated all the biostar drivers and that didn't help and since this seemed to begin when i had installed the ati video card. I had the latest nvidia drivers installed and it wasn't working right so i decided i would uninstall the video driver from the control panel. The computer actually stayed on with no errors in safe mode till i uninstalled this driver then it gave me the bsod 0x0000004a. I did purchase a new video card because I was going to start some gaming before this happened, I didn't know if you think it is worth installing it or if you think this error has nothing to do with it and I should figure out whats going on before i install it?

I'd download and install Driver Sweeper. Once installed re-boot into safe mode and using Driver Sweeper remove, if any, remnants of the nvidia drivers. At least later on you'll be starting with a clean slate.

yeah i had actually done that before I read your post and I did run ccleaner with it also, and then it started up in regular mode and stayed on for the longest it had in a long time, then i got this bsod error 0x000000d1 then it mentioned ataport.sys which cybercore had mentioned he thought was a problem with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error.

1. Submit your latest crash dumps

2. Take new screenshots of your current 'memory' and 'SPD' in CPU-Z.
