Adobe CS4 problems with windows 7

Would anyone know why my captured video is a little grainy? The adobe program works, it loads fine, everything seems to work but when I capture its a little grainy. Tried it on my friends computer with same camera and it worked fine. Looking for any tips or any help. Thanks!!

Different video cards?

EG: Do you have on-board (integrated) graphics? Whereas your friend could have a dedicated graphics card?
