I miss the "move" option that was found under the Organize Tab in XP.

Moving a file to another library is a pain if the location is buried deep deep inside the library.

Can we some add the move option tothe organize tab?

Thanks,

What is "the organize tab"? In what software? A screenshot might help.

I am not familiar with that either. And note "move" was not a native command in XP because there really is no such thing as "move". It is really "cut and paste" actions.

However, there were some "tweaks" that combined the cut and paste actions into a right-click option called moved - but again, pretty sure that was not native to XP - a user needed to add it.

Are you talking about adding MOVE to the Organize menu options in W7's "Windows Explorer"?

You can't really add it there.

But you can add it as a right-click context menu option. See How-to-Geek Article HERE. Then you simply select the item in the right-pane of Windows Explorer and right-click, choose Move To ... from the context menu.
