Hi guys,
Windows was running really slow and clogging up the os partition for some unknown reason. I decided to edit the partition table and merge 2 partitions one which contained data and the other contained the os. I used partition magic which I have used in the past and the system rebooted fine during the merge process. When it rebooted it now says disk read error press ctrl alt delete to restart. I'm probably going to flatten the system now to be honest but I'm worried about my data. If I take the hard drive out do you think the data will still be in tact?
