Windows install

Hi
Im having a problem running windows 7, i run the installation from the disc and do a fresh install, it all installs fine but then when it restarts at the on for the first start up the screen just turns off and i cannot do anything, can anyone help or does anyone know what could be causing this?

Most times this is caused by a bad DVD of Windows 7. Either from a bad download or bad burn. If you got it from Microsoft's site then try burning it at the lowest speed. I use Imgburn (a good free program for this)

I downloaded from the microsoft site, also burned it at 4x with imgburn, tried both x86 and x64 but they both do the same, also tried low resolution mode and the same happens.
i'Il burn another copy at 1x and hopefully it will work then
